Now something different, as a big fan of alien movies this is my vision of some new prequel story. This is a second alien craft discovered on the orbit of an unknown planet. Exploration vessel from earth just starting to search the artefact.
I had a fun by painting this. I love spaceships and especially old an broken ones. Hope you will like it as much as me. Done all in PS and wacom Intuos 4 in some 25 hours. Comments

-- Liverpool can be a lonely place on a Saturday night, and this is only Thursday morning... I Oh, and one more thing. Read. Mah. Poetr...ah? [link] Beautifully imagined. The thing that stands out to me most is the dusty atmosphere. And it looks and feels ancient. It is like the overall idea of what space is about; exploration.
The lighting is epic and adventurous. The ships are more than different to tell that there are not from the same civilization. I would have liked to have seen some more debris up close in the foreground. Just to see more of the detailing. The alien ship certainly has some interesting details I would like to see up close. The different pod structure on the alien ship appears to be something like a command post, but there's nothing signifying its relation to everything else. In that context, the design feels a bit safe. -- I am a bomb disposal technician; if you see me running try to keep up! I like it very much and "sign up" to your comment, as an alien fan of the first hour..
