Happy halloween, I hope you will enjoy the picture. Its again my favourite place and time, early Colonial America. The citizens of one small village found soemthing bizzare and scarry in the fields. How the story continues, I will leave for your imagination.

The picture was partially done as a small memorial for my cat, who was very important for me. And I love pumpkis, so here is the result.
It was a most complicated halloween picture till now. Din't use any refs, apart of some tree photos for better shape.
done in some 20-30hours, in the nightime after work.
Photoshop+wacom intuos.

You should make some artwork like this but set in the Middle Earth. The Shire, Moria, ... and a lot of other suggestive place. Try please! do you love Tolkien Books?

i love this! atmosphere is surreal and magic, and the pumpkin looks grim! i imagine they are sleeping and if they wake up, will be not a good consequences for the explorers. The trees sono wonderful, realistic and essential for the dark atmophere! The village in the back ground make me think that this explorers have seen or heard something strange coming from the woods...
trust me, you have a beautiful talent, this let imagination free and it's a very nice thing. X)
a pleasure for eyes and imagination...
oh i almost forgot... the black cat make this scene dinamic and fantastic... the way he looks at the explorers seem give an advertise...
superb lights and perfect sky and epic sensation of wind through the trees.
now you believe me that i love your artworks? XD ahah
