Simple picture trying to catch the atmosphere of halloween night in colonial american countryside. Maybe in Maryland in 18th century. Done in about 12 hours, so very quick for me . And please, if you can watch this picture only when is dark outside. This was done for the last year halloween holiday. Im gonna paint the sequel this week.

Amazing. You've hit the nail on the head with this one, especially with the light, shading and contrast. The birds make for a great contrast, the moon is just bright enough, and the scarecrow is put in front, but still makes other details visible.

REALLY amazing. Love the dark and spooky aura around it, it also looks incredibly realistic, and all of the faint orange glowing here-and-there really adds something to it, excellent.
