I feel like it takes the feeling of a more civilized age, of discipline and order, and adds a tone of mystery and darkness, seen more commonly in medieval-style works, where both themes seem to mix extremely well. This one creates a clashing sense, in a way, that makes it more powerful.

Absolutely brilliant! Love the story evoked here - beautifully dark and sinister. Also, stellar job with the lighting - wow, just wow.

Keep up the amazing work, eh? =D

This has to be one of the most epic scenes I've seen in a while.  Love your juxtaposition of the horrors of war (on Hallow's Eve no less) and the magical occurances just off sight from the soldiers.  I think it was the dancing (coven?) mice that that stole my heart!!! :D :D :D
