Another work for Napoleon total war. HMS Victory in fierce duel with french Bucentaure at begining of the Trafalgar battle.
The biggest and most important battle between Britain and Napoleon empire. Sadly the Admiral Nelson fell on this ship.
The ship is currently sitting in dry dock in navy museum in Portsmouth and Im seeing her quiet often:) Looks amazing, also to think she was launched in 1765. She is the oldest naval ship still in commission.

Was a sad battle for Spain. Due to the incompetence of the french admiral Villeneuve, and the disgraced alliance with France, the best ships and the best Spanish Sailors were lost there. Your painting and style, bring back the times of the Great Masters of the Paint !

Referring to your journal, it seems to me you are suffering from artistic insecurity. Don't worry, we've all been there... And it's not wrong to want to strive to even greater hights. But don't forget to look down every once in awhile; this work here is nothing short of beautiful, it catches a moment in history perfectly, the fight, the low visibility, the closeness of the ships... If you feel you can do better, then do. It's as simple as that.

I stood on this ship not so long ago!!! Absolutely beautiful!!! I will be doing my uni easter project on those HMS war ships , this image is truley stunning and you have captured her well and truley alive.
I can imagine that to paint ships is a hard task, especially with water crashig against her sides and the angle you have to paint at.
Where do you start? Whats the trick to painting a good ship? You have obviously studied it hard. I wouldnt know where to start. Did you draw onto paper first then scan it in to then do the rest digitally?
I shall be faving this and a llama will also come your way :)
well done this is breathtaking!!
