As promised here are some pictures done by me at 5-6 years age. Interesting is that the themes are similar as in my present works. Done in some one hour, if I correctly remeber with pencil, pen and crayons.

Amazing how much detail you put into these for a 5 - 6 year old. Maybe you could post a some of your earlier work to show how you developed over the years, that would be really interesting. :)

we had similar styles at that age. I mean, I could've thought I did it if I found it in my things (I keep old drawings in a drawer). Especially the way you did the fishies.

Very nice child art. This piece will inspire many young artists to be self-confident.

The similar themes are interesting, as is the fact that you were obviously reasonably talented as a 5 or 6 year old. I guess we'll never know for certain but I think a talent for the different arts is something that to a degree you are born with rather than aquire through training and practice alone.

yeah you really should re-draw these in your current style, I think you would probably end up getting a DD in the surrealism section!

Amazing that you use overlay at that age! This proves that you have talent, manny children don't draw things in front of other things at that age!

This is a good perspective thats shows us, that disicpline and willpower brings us alot further then talent.

This guy is all about disicpline, not talent. Something that i envy more.

This makes me want to look at the box that holds all my younger years stuff hiddien under my bed. My mom insists that I keep it because it holds "memories" not that I can remember much of anything but she does so yeah. Sorry about the rant. Anyway it's amazing how people really grow over the years.
Mokinzi Featured By Owner Dec 23, 2008   General Artist
Thank you so much for uploading this! It's always exciting to see early work from great artists. That you were only 5-6 years old when you drew this shows us that you really are talented. My little brother is at the same age now, and he likes to draw, but it's not nearly as easy to see what they picture, if you know what I mean. Hmm... I must go back and look at my work from that age!
That helicopter up there really rocks!
