Today, Ronal Reagan was born exactly 100 years ago.
I got a birthday today also so decided to make small hommage for this occasion. As I like planes and history alot, this picture is showing the Invasion to Grenada, his first military action as an President. Finally I could paint my favourite plane A-7 Corsair.

Operation Urgent Fury, as this was called, aught to, by all rights, have been a disaster. We were not prepared to invade, our intel was trash, and our recon team of Navy Seals failed to even reach the beach (at least one of them drowned trying to get through the breaker waves). It was, however, a success.
The communist forces were beaten, democracy was restorer, and we suffered minimal casualties. Miraculous.
